Harbour

Detached cottage with garden, near the harbour in the coastal village of Johnshaven. An original fisherman's cottage that retains many of its original features. The village is one of the few working fishing villages left in the British Isles. This peaceful village is very friendly and boasts 2 pubs. a village shop and post office.

The village is also central to many local historical attractions, sandy beaches and nature reserves, (all within 3 miles). There are endless walks and cycle routes for both the light-hearted and the more serious.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer and cooking equipment.
It is open plan into the dining area that seats four and has an open fire, TV and CD player.

The lounge has original stone walls, beams and stone fireplace with electric fire.
It is equipped with TV, DVD player, Video player and Freeview.

The sleeping area is up the original staircase. You can choose between double or twin beds.
Please note that this area is open plan and not separate rooms and the beams are low in areas.

There are two velux windows from which you can stand and watch the harbour.
Originally this area was used as a workshop for storing and repairing the fishing nets as well as a sleeping area.
